Privacy Policy

Last updated 4 November 2026

This policy covers the website zackdesign.biz and the web applications Zack Design runs (including apps hosted on Cloudflare) that let you sign in with your Google account. In this policy, “Zack Design”, “we” and “us” mean Isaac Rowntree, trading as Zack Design, in Sydney, Australia.

What we collect

When you sign in with Google, Google shares the information you approve on the consent screen. For most of our apps that is only:

  • your name
  • your email address
  • your profile picture
  • a unique Google account ID

If an app asks for any further Google permission, the consent screen lists it, and the app uses it only for the feature you turned on.

When you use an app, we store the content you create in it (settings, notes and similar), plus routine technical data such as IP address, browser type and request logs that our hosting provider, Cloudflare, records for security and reliability.

On this website, we use Google Analytics to count visits. It sets cookies and records pages viewed, approximate location and device type.

How we use it

  • to sign you in and keep your session
  • to show your name and picture inside the app
  • to run, secure, debug and improve the app
  • to contact you about your account or about changes to this policy

We do not sell your information, use it for advertising, or use it to train AI models.

Google user data

Our use and transfer of information received from Google APIs follows the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements. Google user data is used only to provide or improve the features you can see in the app. People can read it only with your consent, when needed for security or to follow the law, or when it has been aggregated and anonymised.

Who we share it with

We share information only with services that help run our apps, under their own privacy terms:

  • Cloudflare: hosting, databases and storage
  • Google: sign-in and, on this website, analytics

We may also disclose information if the law requires it.

Storage and security

Your information is stored on Cloudflare’s network, which may process it outside Australia. It is encrypted in transit (HTTPS). We keep the minimum access needed to run the service.

How long we keep it

We keep your account information while your account is active. When you delete your account or ask us to, we delete your information within 30 days, apart from backups and logs, which expire on their normal schedule.

Your choices

  • You can remove an app’s access to your Google account at any time at myaccount.google.com/permissions.
  • You can ask us for a copy of your information, to correct it, or to delete it, by emailing us.

We handle personal information in line with the Australian Privacy Principles. If you are in the EU, UK or another region with its own privacy law, you have the rights that law gives you, and we will honour them.

Children

Our apps are not intended for children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their information.

Changes

If we change this policy we will update the date at the top of this page, and for significant changes we will tell signed-in users.
